Categories of technologies we use
Strictly necessary technologies
These technologies help the site and authenticated web features work properly. They may be used to keep sessions active, protect forms and requests, remember privacy preferences, route traffic correctly, and support security and abuse prevention.
Because these technologies are used to provide core site functionality, they typically remain active as needed for the site to work.
Analytics technologies
These technologies help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages are viewed, how documentation performs, and where improvements are needed.
Based on the current site plan, VibeGuard may use:
- Vercel Web Analytics for cookieless website measurement
- Google Analytics for first-party analytics cookies when enabled
If Google Analytics or other non-essential analytics tools are active in a jurisdiction that requires consent, they should be controlled through a consent banner or cookie settings tool.
What data may be collected through these technologies
Depending on the tool and configuration, cookies and similar technologies may collect or help infer information such as:
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and navigation paths
- Referring URLs
- Timestamps and interaction data
- Approximate location inferred from IP
- Session state and sign-in status
- Privacy preference choices
- Error, diagnostics, or performance information
For authenticated web features, some strictly necessary technologies may also support account access, session continuity, and security monitoring.
Analytics tools in more detail
Vercel Web Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics is expected to be used for website measurement in a cookieless way. It may help measure page views, usage patterns, browser and device data, referrer information, and related web analytics signals without relying on traditional analytics cookies for visitor identification.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics may be used to understand website traffic, user sessions, documentation engagement, and general site performance. When enabled, it may rely on first-party analytics cookies and collect usage data such as page interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, and session statistics.
If local law requires consent for non-essential analytics, Google Analytics should not be activated until that consent is obtained.
Your choices
You can usually control cookie and tracking preferences in several ways.
Cookie banner and site preferences
Where required by law, VibeGuard should present a consent banner or preference tool that lets visitors accept, reject, or customize non-essential technologies. Visitors should also be able to revisit those choices later through cookie settings or a similar control.
Browser controls
Most browsers let users block, delete, or limit cookies. Some also allow site-specific controls for local storage and similar tools. If you disable all cookies, parts of the website or authenticated features may not work correctly.
Analytics controls
If Google Analytics is enabled, visitors may also be able to limit or block analytics-related technologies through browser settings, privacy tools, or the site's preference controls.
California and similar U.S. state privacy notes
This Cookie Policy focuses on website tracking and similar technologies. Depending on how the site is configured, these technologies may collect identifiers, browsing activity, device data, approximate geolocation, and related network activity information for website operation, analytics, and security.
As currently drafted, this policy assumes Nolote uses website tracking primarily for site functionality, analytics, security, and performance measurement, not for unrelated behavioral advertising. If that changes, the policy, privacy disclosures, and applicable opt-out controls should be updated before those changes go live.
International visitors
Different jurisdictions may apply different legal rules to non-essential cookies and similar technologies. Where a stricter rule applies, that stricter rule should govern how consent and preference management are handled for the affected visitor.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, vendor tooling, analytics configuration, website functionality, or related operational practices. When that happens, we will update the Last Updated date above and take any additional notice steps required by law.
